* Unfortunately we are currently unable to redeem store gift cards online (darn it!). If you have a gift card or store credit that you'd like to use online please email us and we will make it as easy as possible. 

 

RETURN POLICY- ONLINE ORDERS

 

We hope your purchase from decemberthieves.com is everything you hoped for but we understand sometimes things don't work out. For clients outside Boston + the surrounding areas we will gladly accept items for a full refund within 7 days of you receiving your order. Store credit or exchange is offered up to 14 days after you receive your order. Orders wherein a delay on shipping is requested will not qualify for returns if it places the shipment outside of the two week window. Online orders for clients in Boston and the surrounding areas are subject to the IN-STORE return policy as they have the option to try on items in-store and get the benefit of our thieves eye!



All items must be in their original condition with tags attached and show no signs of wear.

 

To initiate an exchange or return, please email us with your name and order number. We will get back to you as soon as possible with a return authorization number and instructions. If you are able to return your items in-store please let us know as all online order returns must be processed by management and we don't want to complicate your day! 


Full refunds are only offered via web orders as in store purchases get the benefit of our personal attention and the opportunity to try things on in-store.

 

PLEASE NOTE:

* All shipping fees are non-refundable and return shipping fees
are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend tracking and insuring your return shipment in case of loss or damage. 

 

* All SALE items are final sale and may not be exchanged or returned for credit- this includes items purchased with a WEB DISCOUNT CODE or SALE MARKDOWNS.

* Items purchased with store credit online do not qualify for full refunds. 

 

* Socks and tights are final sale.




RETURN POLICY- IN STORE + PHONE ORDERS

 

If you make your purchase from one of our Boston storefronts we will gladly accept items for store credit or exchange within 14 days of purchase- we have new product coming in daily so we know we can help you find something else you love! Please keep in mind items purchased to be picked up later are included in this 14 day window- items picked up outside this window are no longer eligible for returns and we cannot be held responsible for storage of said items. All items must be in their original condition with original tags attached and show no signs of wear.

 

We will do our best to make sure you leave happy but must reserve the right to refuse any return/exchange if the above conditions are not met.

 

 

PLEASE NOTE:

* All discounted items are final sale and may not be exchanged or returned for credit- this includes FLASH DISCOUNTS and SALE.

* Socks and tights are final sale. 

* Items worn out of the store are not eligible for returns.

*PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ONLINE ORDERS RETURN POLICY IS DIFFERENT FROM THE IN STORE/PHONE ORDERS RETURN POLICY.

 

 

IF YOU RECEIVE A DAMAGED ITEM

 

We pack all shipments with love but unfortunately at times, items can be damaged in transit. If an item arrives DAMAGED please email us with your order number and damage details within 3 days of delivery and we will provide you with further information (and mourn with you).  

Please do not throw out the box and packaging that the item was shipped in as it is required for damage claims with shipping providers.

Unfortunately, claims cannot be handled outside of 3 days post delivery so unpack your goodies right away!

 

 

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

 

All orders are packed with love and shipped from our 51 Charles St. storefront in Boston, MA via USPS or UPS.

We do our best to get all orders out the door within 24-48 business hours from time of purchase and we will let you know as soon as we drop it in the mail- any delays will be brought to your attention.

Please allow 2-5 business days for your orders to arrive. Feel free to email us with any questions- we love hearing from you!

Store pickup is available at our 51 Charles St. storefront during normal business hours unless otherwise noted.

Orders up to $249: $10 flat rate 

Orders over $250: Free Shipping*

*Excludes oversized/fragile items  

 

* Oversized/Fragile items: 

1 item: $18 flat rate  

2+ items: $30 flat rate  

 

* Oversized/Fragile items are not eligible for shipping promotions. 

 


INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

 

At this time we are unable to process international orders through our website- we are working on it and hope to be able to do so shortly.
